Far
West Acupuncture
My friend Paul Lee needed something short
and sweet, and in web design, that translates into a one page web
site, which is exactly what he now has.
I think it looks
good in all of its simplicity. It definately has all the crucial
information, and sometimes, that's all you need.
If you ever
need some acupunture, Paul is a great needle jockey!

Cabin
Fever
They asked for something urban, edgy, NOT
wagon wheel.....they wanted people to look at it and think it was
cool but not really know why.....
The
mother of one of them started crying when she saw the finished product,
apparently they were tears of joy. Sweet......
Initially
I got carried away with a monster thermometer that was going godzilla
on the city but that wasn't what they were going for. However, I
now share it with you, click
here to check it out. It is the meanest thermometer I have ever
seen.

Native
& Fine
Bill Evans is a famous banjo player who lives
in the Bay Area. Designing his personal home page evolved from
the great photo that he provided, as well as the banjo logo that
he had created by a graphic designer. He wanted to keep costs
down, so we designed it together, never going down any one particular
pathway without his approval. While design by committee is never
a good idea, I am comfortable designing with someone looking over
my shoulder as long as they trust my judgment and are flexible.....like
Bill is! While this site takes a while to load for those using
dail-up connections, we feel like its worth it.

Native
& Fine Records
In addition to his personal web site, Bill Evans has
also started his own record label. Again the design was motivated
by the photograph, and since so far there are only three albums on
the label, we can prominently display each album cover on the home
page. |

CBA
Music Camp
This site was recently redesigned to feature the
new California Bluegrass Association's new logo. I like the new
red rollover buttons. This is a site that is used annually for a
special event, so depending on when you look at it, it may be fairly
empty or very active. Every year before the camp, the content trickles
in and I add it immediately so that potential students can get as
much information as possible.

Friends
of GRP&G
This is my "day job" site. I work for The
Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens as their program manager.
Part of my job is to update this site, which I inherited......that
is to say i did not design it. I think I have made vast improvements
though. It won the site of the week from BayArea.com, admittedly
for content, but I am still proud of that because I work hard to
make sure that it is always up to date. This site is nothing fancy.......it's
meant to be simple and accessible to everyone, even those 14K modem
dail-up folks out there. It is probably the largest site I have
ever worked on in terms of number of pages and files, so I think
it showcases my organizational skills.
